The Teens Aiding Growth (TAG) Team, the Youth Advisory Council of Allegan County Community Foundation (ACCF) is pleased to announce 2025 grant awards. The TAG Team is proud to provide 15 organizations with funding this year. These requests represent financial need in the community in the areas of access to medical care, basic needs, behavioral health, education, and enriching experience across Allegan County.

Vicki Knuckles, ACCF Grants Program Officer, says “The TAG Members take this process very seriously. The review, consider, and discuss all aspects of the proposal submitted. ” Organizations receiving grants this year are: Allegan County 4-H Support Allegan County 3 – West Michigan Pathways to Potential L.

The review process is extensive, and members participate in thoughtful discussion before making their final recommendations. TAG Chair, Audrey, from Saugatuck High School, shared that “the grant review process this year was an exciting one. We were given so many great applications from so many amazing organizations.

And though all of us had to make some very hard decisions, I’m very proud of the selections our team made. I hope with the grant money we gave to these organizations we will see a lot of positive changes in Allegan County in the upcoming year. ” This year the TAG team is comprised of 19 teens representing 8 school districts across Allegan County.
