NY State OMH Makes Funds Available to Implement HealthySteps - HealthySteps NY State OMH Makes Funds Available to Implement HealthySteps It is anticipated that OMH will make up to 44 awards across the state, contingent upon the availability of funding. This funding is specifically designated for new sites. The New York State Office of Mental Health is making funds available to support the implementation of HealthySteps.
HealthySteps is an evidence-based program that serves young children from birth to age three and their families in a pediatric healthcare setting, which is non-stigmatizing and offers universal access. OMH is offering this opportunity as a request for applications. This procurement process is streamlined to ensure efficiency and efficacy for the applicant.

This funding is specifically designated for new sites, with the goal of expanding the capacity of pediatric and family medicine practices to implement HealthySteps. OMH has assigned an Issuing Officer for this project. The Issuing Officer or a designee shall be the sole point of contact regarding the RFA from the date of issuance of the RFA until the issuance of the Notice of Conditional Award.
