Power Forward Grants | Heartland Energy Heartland Energy is proud to provide grants to our customers who make investments in energy efficiency. Eligible projects include those that optimize electric energy use, such as installing economical lighting or HVAC systems in public buildings. Grant recipients will be asked to measure both the financial savings and energy savings achieved by said project.
Electrification projects at city facilities will also be considered. *Verification of project costs must be included with the application. *Grants are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis.
The grant process generally takes 30-60 days and submitting an application is not a guarantee of funding. Upon approval and payment of a Power Forward grant, Heartland Energy will provide signage to be displayed at the project site recognizing our contribution to the project. Grants are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis.
