Highmark Corporate Giving: Supporting Community Health and Programs Highmark Bright Blue Futures Highmark Bright Blue Futures Learn how we support the community health and programs. The decades-long legacy of Highmark includes direct financial support to improve the quality of life in the communities we serve. Today, our corporate giving benefits hundreds of organizations across our service area.
Grant & Sponsorship Requests We give preference to organizations that have a 501(c)(3) designation. Organizations that do not have that designation must provide their tax ID or EIN number to be considered for funding.
Corporate Giving Criteria We will consider applications from: Programs and services that tie to our mission and have a compelling potential impact to the health and well-being of individuals National organizations seeking support for local programs Grassroots and faith-based organizations We generally do not accept applications for or from: Capital or building campaigns Fraternal or civic groups Seed money for start-up organizations Requests for political causes or campaigns Grants, scholarships or sponsorships to individuals Highmark will not provide support to organizations that — in their constitution or practice discriminate against a person or group on the basis of the person's gender, race, color, age, religion, creed, ethnicity, national origin, disability, veteran or military status, marital status, sexual orientation/gender identity, genetic information or any other category protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
This statement addresses giving to a non-religious organization with an explicit policy of discrimination against Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender (LGBT) people. We review grant and sponsorship requests continuously and make awards throughout the year. Sponsorship requests must be made a minimum of 8 weeks prior to the decision deadline.
Please submit one application per calendar year. If you have multiple events in one year, we recommend including all requests in one application.
