Hispanic Education Endowment Fund (HEEF) is sponsored by Orange County Community Foundation. HEEF improves access to higher education for Orange County's Hispanic/Latino youth. It is a collaborative of funding partners that offer individual awards.

Scholarships - Hispanic Education Endowment Fund (HEEF) Applications opening Fall 2026 2026 HEEF Scholarship Application Deadline Extended! General Eligibility Requirements The HEEF Scholarship Program considers applicants based on a combination of financial need, academic achievement and involvement in extracurricular activities, community volunteer work, work-employment and home life.

All applications are submitted online – click on “Apply for a HEEF Scholarship” to go to the application site. Complete ONE application for the HEEF Scholarship Program to be considered for all of the subfund partner scholarships!

Something went wrong while submitting the form. 2026 Scholarship Recipients In 2026, HEEF awarded scholarships to 20 outstanding students, selected from a highly competitive pool of 172 applications through a rigorous review process led by 14 volunteer scholarship reviewers. This year's awards also mark the beginning of HEEF's next chapter.

Future scholarship recipients will benefit from HEEF's new renewable scholarship model, providing $2,500 annually for up to four years, for a total of up to $10,000 in scholarship support. This evolution reflects HEEF's commitment to supporting students throughout their college journey while expanding the organization's long-term impact for generations to come.
