Hispanic Owned Small Businesses Grant (HCCL) is sponsored by Houston Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (HCCL). Provides grants to eligible Hispanic-owned businesses. These funds can be used for rent, equipment, utilities, employee wages and benefits, inventory, and accounts payable.

Hispanic Owned Small Businesses Grant – Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Louisiana Grant Opportunity Hispanic Owned Small Businesses The Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Louisiana (HCCL) and Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Foundation (HCCF) in partnership with Entergy are thrilled to announce a dedicated fund to award Hispanic Owned Businesses disproportionately impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic and natural disasters with grants that will assist them to offset the losses and move forward.

Hispanic Owned Businesses have suffered from systemic barriers which have prevented them to access traditional resources main street business owners have available. Despite these barriers, Hispanic Owned Businesses continue to open at a faster pace than their counterparts. Louisiana boasts the seventh fastest-growing Hispanic population and the contributions made by these resilient, talented, and hardworking are many.

Provide grants of $2,500 to eligible businesses which can be used for rent, equipment, utilities, employee wages and benefits, inventory, accounts payable, etc. Assist Hispanic businesses to overcome negative impact and help scale while connecting them to other resources and tools.

Help Hispanic owned businesses rebound from the aftermath of COVID-19 and natural Build a more equitable community and contribute to the economic development of the State of Louisiana. Application window is open! These grants will be reviewed and awarded based on the requirements outlined, the type of business, demonstration of need and proposed use of funding.

Recipients will be required to obtain technical assistance from an approved service provider including HCCL which will support recovery and growth. Applicants should gather all required documents and submit at time of application submittal.

Eligibility Requirements & documentation In order to be considered eligible, you must meet the following requirements: Be at least 51% Hispanic owned business for profit <span style= "color: #8a2432;" Be a “small business” as defined by the Small Business Administration size standards. Have been in business for at least 12 months prior to January 2020. Have a business revenue of US Dollars.

Be able to demonstrate economic business loss. Be agreeable to participating in at least three (3) business resource and training sessions hosted by HCCL/HCCLF.
