HIV Research Scholars Program Overview (US) | Gilead : Research Scholars Gilead Sciences will be supporting a minimum of 4 awards through this program. Each awardee will receive $180,000 that will be paid directly to the scholars institution.

Round 1, One-Page Specific Aims Deadline: June 25, 2026 11:59 PM PT No applications will be accepted after this date.
Round 2, Detailed Proposal* Deadline: October 15, 2026 11:59 PM PT *only applicable to the top applicants who are invited to submit a detailed five-page research proposal Email notification for Round 1 applicants will be sent to all applicants on or before August 2026. The top scoring applicants from Round 1 will be invited to submit an application for Round 2. Email notification for Round 2 applicants will be sent in January 2027.
