Genesee County Home Improvement and Urgent Repair Program for Homeowners -AND- Contractor Opportunities Genesee County Home Improvement and Urgent Repair Program for Homeowners -AND- Contractor Opportunities The Genesee County Home Improvement Program offers homeowners a Deferred Payment Loan (DPL) to make needed improvements to their homes for those that qualify.

The Urgent Repair Program for eligible low-to-moderate income homeowners assists with costly repairs related to the failure of a septic system, well, furnace or roof. Genesee County's Roofing Revitalization Program The Genesee County Board of Commissioners are pleased to announce a new County-wide roof revitalization program made possible through a $1. 7 million MSHDA MI Neighborhood grant. The program is being administered by the Genesee County Metropolitan Planning Commission, in partnership with Genesee County Habitat for Humanity.
