Home Repairs for Current Homeowners (Greenville County) is sponsored by Greenville County Redevelopment Authority. This program assists homeowners in Greenville County (outside Greenville city limits) with critical home repairs, including updating to meet handicap-accessibility requirements. It is designed to help seniors, disabled homeowners, and low-income families.

## Home Repairs for Current Homeowners Are you a current homeowner in Greenville County (outside Greenville city limits) needing some financial help with critical home repairs? Our staff at GCRA along with our contractors and partners help repair homes for seniors, disabled homeowners, and low-income families; some or all of the home repair cost may be covered by a grant.

**You Can Get Help With:** * Roofing repairs/replacement * HVAC repairs/replacement * Outdated electrical systems * Updating to meet handicap-accessibility requirements (ADA) * Limited bathroom repairs **You May Qualify If You:** * Own a home in Greenville County including the five municipalities of Fountain Inn, Greer, Mauldin, Simpsonville, and Travelers Rest but NOT within the City of Greenville limits * Pass a SLED background check to verify eligibility _(please note that a fee will be charged for each household member aged 18 or older to cover the SLED check)_ * Have a household income at or below 80% of area median income (AMI) All are as approved by the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), Effective June 1, 2026.
