CDC Utah | Community Development Corporation - Critical repairs & home improvement Critical repairs & home improvement CDCU and its affiliate, Utah Community Investment Fund, offer several programs to help you improve the condition of your home. Our different programs can assist you in making health and safety repairs, energy efficiency upgrades, as well as other improvements that will maintain the condition and value of your home.
Our HomeFit Upgrade Loan program can provide an additional $25,000 in flexible financing to help qualifying borrowers take on larger projects, and/or projects that are not considered health and safety-focused. The loan program is available to homeowners who occupy their homes as a primary residence in Salt Lake, Tooele or Summit counties.
HomeFit Upgrade loan information HomeFit health & safety examples The home renovation grant and loan program captures a broad range of projects, allowing homeowners to access capital for a variety of housing needs. Limited grant funding plus our competitive financing provides a way to renovate and improve your home without creating a financial hardship and is combined with our financial coaching services.
Additionally, this loan provides fair financing terms helping safeguard you from using predatory and unfavorable credit options The HomeFit program offers grants and loans for critical repairs or home improvements such as those needed addressing health and safety issues, remodeling of bathrooms and kitchens, replacing a roof, updating your home’s exterior or adding on additional space.
