Their Big Radius Tool must be utilized to determine which counties fall within a 50 continuous driving mile radius of the applicant’s proposed physical location in their proposed Service Delivery Area.

U.S. Department of Labor Veterans’ Employment and Training Services Service Delivery Area Saturation Map The Saturation Map represents every Department of Housing and Urban Development Continuum of Care served by Homeless Veterans’ Reintegration Program grant recipients.

Each Continuum of Care is represented by a color that indicates the saturation level, which is calculated by dividing the total number of Homeless Veterans’ Reintegration Program grant recipients’ annual planned enrollments in the Continuum of Care by the number of veterans experiencing homelessness in the Continuum of Care from the Housing and Urban Development Point-in-Time Count.

The Point-in-Time Count is a count of sheltered and unsheltered people experiencing homelessness on a single night in January. Housing and Urban Development requires that Continuums of Care conduct an annual count of people experiencing homelessness who are sheltered in emergency shelter, transitional housing, and Safe Havens on a single night.
