Hope Source — NEW Community Health Everyone Deserves a Chance to Heal In a state where suicide rates are among the highest in the nation and access to care is among the lowest, your support becomes so much more than a donation—it becomes a lifeline.
Only 47% of Wyoming’s mental health needs are met Wyoming ranks among the top states for suicide deaths Mental health providers are paid 30% less than primary care With just 27 crisis beds statewide, ongoing support is critical Hope Source closes these gaps—quietly, compassionately, and directly—by funding therapy sessions for those already in care with trusted, licensed mental health professionals.
Mental health care can be life-changing. It can mean the difference between just surviving and truly living. But for too many in Wyoming, therapy remains out of reach—not for lack of courage, but because of cost.
Hope Source is here to change that. A program of the Northeast Wyoming Community Health Foundation, Hope Source provides critical financial assistance for mental health counseling to individuals in Campbell County and surrounding areas. In the past year alone, we’ve helped 93 people continue life-saving therapy by providing over $82,000 in support.

We are now able to say the unsaid, and the community is reducing the stigma. ” Hope Source funds are accessed through licensed mental health providers (LCSWs, LPCs, LMFTs, etc.) who apply on behalf of their clients.
This ensures assistance goes directly to individuals already engaged in care and in need of continued support. Providers must be licensed in Wyoming and submit a declaration of financial need. All applications are reviewed by a local committee of mental health professionals, community leaders, and Foundation staff.
Hope Source Applications Committee Review Process Applications are due by the last day of the month preceding review. For example, an application submitted on January 2 will be reviewed in February. The Applications Committee meets on the second Wednesday of each month to review submissions.
Applicants will be notified by the second Friday of the month if additional information is required or if the application is not approved. For approved applications, payment will be issued by the second Friday of the month.
