Hospice — The Stone Family Foundation The Stone Family Foundation supports hospices which, through trained volunteers, meet the needs of persons nearing death as well as those who are grieving over the loss of another. The Foundation prioritizes organizations working in Central or Southern California. The Stone Family Foundation typically awards grants between $25,000 to $50,000 in the fall each year on an invitation-only basis.
However, we welcome letters of interest (LOI) throughout the year. The deadline for the 2026 grant cycle has passed. Any LOIs received will be kept on file for 2027 grant cycle.
The Foundation also considers LOIs requesting smaller amounts of support (under $25,000), without a requirement of a full proposal. LOIs should be submitted using the Letter of Interest form below. For more information, please contact the Foundation at: thestonefamilyfoundation@gmail.

The Foundation accepts 1-2 page letters of interest (LOI) at any time.
