The Oregon Health Authority’s Injury & Violence Prevention and Medicaid Programs are supporting development of sustainable programs to help communities break the cycle of community violence. ***NEW: Funding Opportunity*** With funding allocated by 2022 Oregon House Bill 4045, the Oregon Health Authority will release a new grant opportunity to support development of hospital-based violence intervention programs .
Hospitals and community-based, non-profit organizations in Oregon that serve people outside Multnomah County can request funding to participate in the Hospital-Based Violence Intervention Program (HVIP) Expansion-Learning Community. Once released, the grant application will be posted in OregonBuys, the state's web-based eProcurement system: https://oregonbuys. gov/bso/ .
