Household Assistance Program (Emergency Assistance Program) is sponsored by Metro Action Commission (Nashville. gov). Provides payment assistance for housing and other emergencies, including rent, to customers who have had a loss of income within the last 60 days.

This is a one-time assistance per application period.

Applicants seeking help with electricity, natural gas, propane, or wood-supply payments should apply using the Utility Assistance/Smart Simple link. All other requests — such as water payments, rent and mortgage, or utility deposits — should be submitted through the THO Application Portal.

Our Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) program provides assistance with payments for Electric, Gas, Propane or other energy resource bills to eligible residents in Davidson County.
