Best for: Long-term stability Public Housing is federally subsidized housing designed to provide safe, decent rental homes for eligible low-income families, the elderly, veterans, and persons with disabilities. Homes range from single-family houses to apartment communities, including high-rise buildings for seniors. Housing Alliance Houston owns these properties, which are managed by professional property management companies.
Who it serves: Low-income families, seniors, veterans, people with disabilities Housing Choice Voucher Program (HCVP) Best for: Flexibility & Choice The Housing Choice Voucher Program helps eligible households afford housing in the private rental market.
