Beyond Housing Partners with The Jayson Tatum Foundation and SoFi to Increase Homeownership in St. Louis - Beyond Housing Beyond Housing Partners with The Jayson Tatum Foundation and SoFi to Increase Homeownership in St. Louis Beyond Housing is excited to announce a new program in partnership with The Jayson Tatum Foundation and SoFi to increase homeownership among low-to-moderate income families in St.

Louis City and St. Louis and St. Charles Counties.

The Jayson Tatum Foundation (JTF) Homebuyer Grants Program will empower eligible families to transition into sustainable homeownership through grants that provide down payment and closing cost assistance, as well as comprehensive financial education.

The new program is funded in part through SoFi’s Generational Wealth Fund , which launched in 2024 with the announcement of a $1 million donation to The Jayson Tatum Foundation to help them establish a homebuying grant program. With SoFi’s help, the JTF will be able to support eligible families to become homeowners as a path toward financial security and sustainable wealth for future generations.

Jayson Tatum will also match SoFi’s donation to further assist eligible homebuyers in the region. In addition, Beyond Housing, SoFi, and the JTF will be hosting a series of financial education workshops in St. Louis, empowering the community with fundamental finance knowledge, setting yourself up for home ownership, and how to apply for the grant program.

The JTF Homebuyer Grants Program will empower eligible families to achieve homeownership, allowing them to invest in a permanent asset and thrive as new homeowners. Eligible prospective homebuyers will receive: Individualized financial advising Down payment and closing cost assistance “We’re thrilled to partner with The Jayson Tatum Foundation and SoFi,” said Beyond Housing CEO Chris Krehmeyer.

“This exciting program perfectly aligns with our expertise in supporting homeownership across the region and further Beyond Housing’s mission to strengthen families and transform communities to create a stronger, more equitable, and prosperous St. Louis—once and for all. ” The program is available to eligible prospective homebuyers seeking to buy homes in St.

Louis City, St. Louis County, and St. Charles County (Missouri).
