Housing Rehabilitation Program Housing Rehabilitation Program The City of Royal Oak's Housing Rehabilitation Program offers financial and technical assistance to all low- and moderate-income single-family homeowners.
The program is designed to restore and upgrade the city's existing single-family housing stock, preserve neighborhoods city-wide, implement energy efficiency measures, develop safe, decent and accessible housing, and create an affordable housing option. Program funding is provided by the city’s Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program (federal funds).
