The King County Housing Repair Program provides assistance to low and moderate-income homeowners and renters with disabilities in most parts of King County. Our funding provides for repairs such as replacing your roof, installing a new septic system, plumbing and electrical upgrades, addressing emergency conditions, health and safety repairs, or major building preservation issues within single-family, owner-occupied homes.
For renters with a disability, we provide funding to make your unit more accessible with wheelchair ramps, widening doorways, grab bars, and accessible showers. Deferred Payment Loan and Matching Funds Home Repair Loan Manufactured Home Grants, Emergency Grants, and Home Accessibility Modification Grants for Renters Apply to become a contractor for the Housing Repair Program.

2026 Community Climate Resilience Grant Program is sponsored by King County, Washington. This program provides funding for frontline communities disproportionately impacted by climate change to develop new or expand existing community-based climate resilience projects within King County limits. Projects should align with Sustainable & Resilient Frontline Communities Focus Areas and have immediate, tangible outcomes related to increasing education/awareness or increasing adaptation/resilience in the face of local climate change impacts such as food/housing/utility affordability, extreme weather (especially heat), wildfire smoke, and flooding.
