HCHPP - Hudson County Office of Cultural & Heritage Affairs In partnership with the New Jersey Department of State – New Jersey Historical Commission (NJHC), the Hudson County Office of Cultural & Heritage Affairs/Tourism Development (HCOCHA/TD) offers matching grants to non-profit organizations located in, and serving the residents of Hudson County via the Hudson County History Partnership Program (HPP).
The History Partnership Program (HPP) is administered through HCOCHA/TD, a unit of Hudson County government, by authority of Hudson County Executive Craig Guy and the Hudson County Board of County Commissioners.
Hudson County awards competitive matching grants to organizations, based on merit and financial need, which clearly demonstrate their commitment to preserving and promoting the history of Hudson County and its 12 municipalities by producing or sponsoring historical programming of the highest quality and professionalism.
I’m extremely proud to introduce the Hudson County History Partnership Program (HPP), which aims to strengthen and support Hudson County’s local history organizations and programs to further deepen understanding of our County and state’s history. The HPP brings resources closer to our diverse and vulnerable communities within Hudson County – giving them the opportunity to learn about our history.
