Humboldt International Student Scholarship (Fee Waiver)

Humboldt International Student Scholarship (Fee Waiver) is sponsored by Cal Poly Humboldt. Provides partial out-of-state tuition waivers to full-time, degree-seeking international students with strong academic history and financial need.

Cal Poly Humboldt will consider all F1 visa holders for scholarship assistance based on academic merit and financial need. Scholarships are awarded for up to one academic year or semester for any degree program, provided that the student meets the appropriate requirements and makes satisfactory academic progress. Annual increases to awards are not available.

Students must re-apply each academic year and maintain a 3. 0 GPA and full time enrollment. International scholarships are the main source of University funding available to F1 visa holders.

Additionally, international students may apply for on-campus employment and may work up to 20 hours per week. U.S. citizens and permanent residents may be considered for state or federal financial assistance; these students should submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), which is available upon request.

Open to : This award is open to new, incoming undergraduate & graduate, degree-seeking international students as well as current undergraduate international students who hold an F1 visa.
