As a small, woman- and minority-owned business, it has been a financial struggle. I was not taught financial literacy and have experienced many financial hardships, and I am still learning. Because of my credit, I was not able to obtain a loan to expand my business.

MESO Business Development currently serves the Portland Metro area, Beaverton, and Vancouver, Washington. Services available vary by location. However, Lending and Education classes are available to businesses located in the state of Oregon and SW Washington.
How do I become a MESO client? You can access many of MESO’s programs without becoming a MESO client. Services are available to business owners, such as taking classes, credit building, applying for a loan, or joining the MESO Makers Market.
To become a long-term client or to access Individual Development Accounts (IDAs), you are required to have been in business for at least 6 months, have a cash flow, be income qualified, and be in a geographic location that MESO serves.
