Student and Fund Request Information A few things to know about Children's Fund grant requests: The Fund request MUST come from an IEA member.
Requests MUST include a name and contact information of another member, school nurse, counselor, or principal who can verify the student’s need. Requests over $300. 00 may require IEA Children’s Fund Board approval.
IEA Members are limited to $1000. 00 per year. The Fund request cannot be used for rent or utilities, home improvements, funeral expenses, capital equipment, or create a contractual obligation.
Some requests may be limited or denied based on IEA Children’s Fund policy. All approved request will be paid within 7-10 business days. We may need to contact you for additional information.

The Robotics Grant Program is a grant from the Alabama State Department of Education (ALSDE) that funds school-based robotics programs for elementary, middle, and high school students. Awarded through a competitive application process, the program provides up to $3,500 to eligible local education agencies (LEAs) in Alabama. Applicants must be public school systems submitting on behalf of schools with K–12 students.
