Important details regarding this program, including the eligibility requirements, are provided when the application is first launched and may also be accessed via the Illinois Veteran Grant (IVG) page.
Be sure you read and understand this information prior to completing and submitting an application. Launching the IVG application below will open the Student Portal, where you can either login if you already have an account, or create one for the future. If you create a personal profile, the system will automatically use that information to fill in part of your application, and then process it after you complete the rest.
In addition to having the ability to complete and submit the IVG Program application, having a personal profile allows applicants to: check on the status of their application; keep track of the number of eligibility units they have remaining; and, view and print their most recent IVG eligibility notification.
Because the application contains personally identifiable information, caution should be used if submitting and/or printing the completed application in an unsecured setting (for example, a public computer at a library). If you have any questions regarding this program or the application process, contact an ISAC Student Engagement representative.
