Imagine America Adult Skills Education Program is sponsored by Imagine America Foundation. This program offers up to $1,000 for students 19 or older who have a high school diploma, GED, or can pass an Ability to Benefit test. Applicants must demonstrate financial need and be enrolled in eligible career or vocational training programs.

ASEP builds upon the Foundation's award-winning Imagine America Scholarship Program, which has helped thousands of high school seniors each year attend career colleges. ASEP is a national aid program established in 2009 by the Imagine America Foundation that offers a one-time grant, provided through the Imagine America Foundation, to qualified adult students planning to attend a participating career college.

Apply For Our Scholarships Here Programs in several growing areas are enrolling now at approximately 400 career colleges that are proud partners of the Imagine America Foundation! Nontraditional students choosing to pursue a career education may receive a $1,000 tuition grant to attend an Imagine America-participating ASEP school of their choice through our adult college grants.

We understand the challenges many adult students face when they make the brave decision to seek career training. In fact, a recent study showed that many adults were reluctant to go back to school because they felt they needed support with financial decisions and burdens. More than 80 percent of respondents listed tuition and fees as challenges.

That's why we urge every adult who wants to find scholarships for career training to apply for our ASEP grants today.

Step 1: Create your profile on our portal page: www. iaf-portal.

web. app . Step 2: Follow the prompts for creating your account.

Step 3: Once you’ve created your account, you’ll need to complete your profile before applying for a scholarship. Fill out your profile completely and save it. Step 4: After you’ve successfully saved your profile, click on the tab “Apply for Scholarships” on the left-hand navigation.

Step 5: Under "Type" select ASEP for Adult Skills Education Program. Then find the school you wish to apply for by using the "Program of Interest" or the "State" search features. Step 6: After you’ve selected your school, review the information and apply for the scholarship.

Step 7: To finish your application, you will need to complete the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) Student Success Assessmentand watch the Financial Planning Made Simple (FPMS) video, which should automatically populate after submitting your application.

If you do not have time to watch the FPMS video immediately after submitting your application, you can always log back in and watch it by selecting the "Video" tab in your left-hand navigation. After completing the video, select the red button that says "Submit and Complete." Step 8: Your application has now been sent to your career college for the school to review.

Your college also will have received an email stating that you have applied for our scholarship. Please check in with your college to see that it has everything it needs from you. Once the school has decided, you will receive an email informing you about the scholarship decision.
