Impact 100 Houston Grant Program is sponsored by Impact100 Houston Inc. Empowers women philanthropists by providing transformative grants to nonprofit organizations across five focus areas, including Education, supporting youth mentoring initiatives.

Grant Opportunity Overview Grant Opportunity Overview Impact100 Houston awards grants to nonprofits in our community in the focus areas of Arts & Culture, Education, Environment, Family, and Health & Wellness. Applicants may apply for grant funding of $100,000 in a focus area that supports their mission, programs, or services. Applying for a grant starts with the Eligibility Questionnaire , which is open March 1 - March 31.

Late February: Nonprofit Information Session March 1: Eligibility Questionnaire opens March 31: Pre-Application Form closes May 1: Grant Application opens and eligible organizations will receive invitation to complete the full grant application May 31: Grant Application closes June - August: Impact100 members review grant applications August: Semi-Finalists alerted of Site Visit request Early September: Site Visits conducted Late September: Five Finalists alerted Early October: Meet the Finalists Event Early November: Annual Awards Celebration All stages of the grant review process are conducted by Impact100 Houston members who volunteer for this important work.

Arts, Culture & History : Initiatives that cultivate, develop, enhance or preserve the artistic, cultural, and historical character of the community Education : Initiatives that expand, improve or further educational opportunities or access to education for children and/or adults Family : Initiatives that support strengthening or enhancing the lives of children, families, and seniors Health & Wellness : Initiatives that improve the mental and/or physical well-being of individuals in the community, improve access to health care, or foster healthy living habits and holistic wellness Environment & Recreation: Initiatives that focus on improving, preserving or restoring natural and/or built environments, promoting environmental justice, fighting climate change, and/or promoting conservation or stewardship of living things within the community; Initiatives that create, restore, or revitalize recreational facilities/spaces or enhance community safety Each Focus Area Committee ultimately selects a single finalist to compete for a $100,000 grant at our Annual Awards Celebration.

Organizations that can demonstrate that the grant will have a measurable impact on the organization itself, its capacity to serve, and/or the constituents it serves. Organizations that are led by a staff and board who reflect the diversity of the populations they serve. Proposals for programs or services that target underserved and/or marginalized populations.

Proposals that address unmet needs in Harris County and have a high impact on beneficiaries or communities.
