One annual IMPACT grant is made to a St. Louis-based Jewish organization that provides innovative programming to their community.

Louis Community Foundation > 2024 Board Chair, St. Louis Community Foundation The St. Louis Community Foundation celebrated many milestones and embraced significant transformation over the past year.

We are pleased to share our 2023 annual report, which highlights the impact of the Foundation’s purposeful philanthropy in our region. The Foundation and its donors granted more than $80 million to scholarship, nonprofit, and employee care recipients in 2023, bringing our five-year total to more than half a billion dollars. The vast majority of these funds stayed in the Greater St.

Louis Metropolitan area. A record-setting number of nonprofits participated in the 10th annual Give STL Day, our region’s largest day of online giving, and raised more than $3. 8 million.

In addition, we provided capacity-building opportunities to hundreds of nonprofits and uplifted countless grantee These accomplishments and many others would not be possible without our nonprofit, donor, and community partners. As we consider the future of the Foundation, we are optimistic that through partnership and collaboration, we can affect meaningful believe that the investments of today will propel long-term success.

Louis Metropolitan area Foundation and its donors The St. Louis Community Foundation and its donors directed more than $86. 4 million dollars to nonprofit, scholarship, and employee care recipients here at home in St.

Louis and around the world. These charitable dollars are directed to a rich variety of causes, with 81% of all grants benefiting the Greater St. Louis Metropolitan area.

Because of the generosity of our donors, countless meals have been served, backpacks have been filled, and needy animals have been rescued. # Welcoming Dr. Kelvin Adams In July 2023, after a national search, the Foundation’s Board of Directors announced that Dr. Kelvin Adams would serve as the organization’s next President & CEO. Dr. Adams’ background as a community leader, educator, and advocate for the St.

Louis region made him the ideal candidate to lead the Foundation into a new era of support for the region. Dr. Adams previously served for 14 years as Superintendent of Saint Louis Public Schools.

a future of increasing collaborative philanthropy to address some of our region’s most complex and persistent problems and expanding the Foundation’s leadership role to deliver a more equitable, connected, # Celebrating the 10th Annual Give STL Day The Foundation and local nonprofits celebrated the 10th annual Give STL Day on May 10, 2023, raising a total of $3. 84 million and bringing the event’s 10-year total to $30 million.

The anniversary year saw record-setting nonprofit participation, with 1,126 organizations rallying donors to their causes, including more than 200 organizations that had participated in Give STL Day every year since 2014.

Nonprofits had the chance to boost their giving day success by strategizing to win a portion of the record-breaking $220,000 cash Give STL Day gives nonprofits the chance to connect with donors and raise awareness of their missions. Participants also benefit skill-building trainings and opportunities to network with peers.

I’m certainly not! ” # Capacity-Building Services Provided to Nonprofits The Community Foundation and Missouri Foundation for Health partnered to provide capacity-building services to nonprofits via Catchafire, an online platform that connects nonprofits with skilled volunteers.

In a testament to the power of collaboration, more than $1 million in services—from web development to leadership coaching or marketing strategy—was provided to nonprofits at no cost to them. These services totaled more than 5,300 donated hours. Capacity-building equips nonprofits with the skills and resources they need to drive operational growth and achieve their missions.
