Grant Making | Keller Foundation Supporting Innovative Programs for Grand Rapids' Core City Youth Founders, History & Legacy Paragon Die & Engineering The Keller Foundation awards an average of 30 grants each year. Grants range in size from $2,500 up to $50,000. Awards are relative to the size and scope of the project as well as its potential to impact our focus community.
We prefer to make three-year Impact Grants which constitute 5%-50% of the program’s budget. Impact Grants help our grantees plan for funding support long-term.
Impact Grants usually have the following elements: Evaluation required for renewal Looking to make an impact in our focus community Help nonprofit organization/program startup in area of focus/need Looking to leverage resources of other funders; and/or working with others to help collaborate or influence change Alignment with foundation values Reinforce foundation image and values in the community Supports specific programs The Keller Foundation has a key interest in supporting programs and services for children and families living in the community around the Martin Luther King Jr. Leadership Academy.
