Grants up to $5000 will be awarded for programs or operating expenses. Promote organizations that demonstrate financial responsibility and sustainability.
Support a “better together” approach (significant collaboration, less duplication of services). Invest in leadership and operations that demonstrate action. Encourage participation that is reflective of our entire community.
We envision… a healthy and vibrant community that is created, sustained, and supported by its members and powered by generosity. Applications for the 2025 Impact Grant are closed. The 2026 Impact Grant Application will open in October 2026.
Click here to submit your 2025 Impact Grant Report Applicants must create an account and submit their completed application through Smarter Select, our online application software. The only exception is for those using the Spanish application. Organizations should be a registered 501 (c) 3, have a current fiscal sponsor, or be a government, school or other public entity.
Organizations can apply for operational or program expenses. Grants requests between $1000 and $5000 are considered. Programs and services must directly impact Montrose County residents.
2025 Impact Grant Application If you received a 2025 MCF Impact Grant your grant report is due. Grant reports may be filed anytime during the year, after funds have been used. To file a grant report click the MCF Grant Report button below.
You must file a report to be eligible for 2026 funding. Deadline for 2026 Impact Grant applications. To apply for an Impact Grant click the 2026 Impact Grant Application button to be directed to our online grant application in Smarter Select.
