gov for More Information ## Funding Opportunity: Implementing Partners for Military Health Support in Angola The United States Embassy announces a new funding opportunity for qualified implementing partners in Angola under the Global Health Security and Development (GHSD) framework, the President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR), and the U.S. Department of Defense HIV/AIDS Prevention Program (DHAPP).
This funding is intended to support initiatives aimed at controlling the HIV epidemic in Angola, including prevention, care, and treatment programs, with a particular focus on approaches tailored to specific needs, especially within military settings.
The DHAPP is part of the U.S. Government’s global effort to save lives, prevent new HIV infections, and accelerate progress toward controlling the HIV/AIDS epidemic in more than 40 countries. The program operates under the Defense Health Agency (DHA) and is based at the Naval Health Research Center (NHRC) in San Diego, California.
