However, educators often lack the budget to purchase specialty materials to support their students. AdoptAClassroom. org’s Inclusive Classroom Fund seeks to fill the gap between what students need and what teachers can afford.

Our grants focus on teachers supporting special education students, English language learners, and students experiencing economic or social marginalization. Inclusive Education Fund Impact So Far “Karin is an English language learning teacher at an elementary school who received a $750 Inclusive Classroom grant.

We surprised her with the news that she had received the grant – and her reaction illustrates why donor support matters: “With these funds, I could engage every middle school band member. The reeds ensured the woodwinds could continue playing regardless of financial hardship. The brass care products have doubled the speed of slides and valves.

The percussion instrument has made possible an accurate performance of the band piece. And the pencil on every music stand has been a game changer for students to mark their music, leading to more consistent and accurate performance. I couldn’t have done it without this grant!
