Increased Recycling of Empty Glass Beverage Containers Grant Program - CalRecycle Home Page Increased Recycling of Empty Glass Beverage Containers Grant Program To recycle more glass beverage containers, the Increased Recycling of Empty Glass Beverage Containers Grant Program funds regional pilot programs that supply bins for collecting empty glass beverage containers from: Retail licensed establishments that sell beverages to drink onsite (on-sale), including: On-sale beer and wine licenses On-sale general licenses for seasonal businesses Eligible applicants include: Qualifying tribal entities Private, for-profit entities Eligible projects include: Establishing a regional pilot program that includes all of the following: Purchasing bins for collecting empty glass beverage containers at: On-sale retail licensed establishments Collecting and consolidating contents from the bins.
Transporting the collected empty glass beverage containers to a glass processing facility. For more information, contact BevContainerGrants@calrecycle. ca.
