Independent HCP Publication Support (IHPS) from Novo Nordisk Inc. provides financial assistance to healthcare professionals seeking support for peer-reviewed publications including case studies and case series. Eligible applicants are healthcare professionals with original research or clinical data for publication. Recipients must sign a standard contract requiring disclosure of financial support in the publication.

Before submitting the request form, please ensure that the applicant(s) has all information necessary to fully and accurately provide the following information: Description of Financial Support Requested (Budget/Fees); Acknowledgement of Authorship Requirements; and Acknowledgement of Sunshine/Open Payments Reporting Requirements IHPS decisions are made through a formal NNI review and decision-making process.

The NNI IHPS Review Committee assesses applications based on established criteria, including available funding, the volume of requests received, alignment with NNI’s scientific and medical areas of interest, and the potential to improve patient care and outcomes.

Before making a funding decision, the NNI IHPS Review Committee may request additional information or clarification about an IHPS applicant’s proposed activity description, budget or other submitted items. Before receiving IHPS support, the potential recipient will be required to sign NNI’s standard contract mandating the inclusion of appropriate disclosures in the supported publication(s).
