Individual and Households Program (IHP) is a FEMA disaster assistance program providing financial aid and direct assistance to U.S. citizens, non-citizen nationals, and qualified aliens whose disaster-related losses are not covered by insurance and whose primary residence has been affected by a presidentially declared disaster.
Covered assistance may include home repair and replacement, personal property replacement, and other disaster-related expenses. Award amounts vary by need. Eligible applicants must reside in a presidentially declared disaster area and have losses related to their primary home.
