Creativity Grants for Projects Creativity Grants for Projects strengthen the vitality and sustainability of artists and small organizations and provide opportunities to serve the growing needs of relevant arts projects and collaborations within Maryland communities. Folklife Apprenticeships support traditional arts education by funding a mentor artist and apprentice artist to work together for one year.
The Grants for Artists program supports the working and living expenses of Maryland artists. Heritage Awards recognize long-term achievement in the traditional arts. Awards are given through Maryland Traditions and annually recognize six recipients in one of three categories: Person/People, Place, and Tradition.
