Center for Community & Housing Development - PA Department of Community & Economic Development Center for Community & Housing Development The Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development Center for Community and Housing Development is responsible for the administration of funding from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Community Planning and Development Programs.
These include: Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program CDBG funds strengthen Pennsylvania communities by assisting with housing improvements, building suitable living environments, expanding economic opportunities geared to low- and moderate-income individuals, and improving critical community health and welfare infrastructure.
