Activities that showcase and/or stimulate demand for Canadian content and talent that were previously supported by the Promotion Program Guidelines and Important Documents The Promotion Program’s Industry Initiatives Stream provides funding to activities that stimulate demand for Canadian content.
Activities include: National award ceremonies for film, television or digital media Alternative distribution networks Conferences, panels and networking events Canadian-controlled corporations who: Have their head office in Canada. Work in the film, television or digital media sectors.
Received funding under the Promotion Program signed between April 1, 2022, and March 31, 2025 Had at least two (2) editions financed by Telefilm Meet the additional eligibility criteria specific to each type of activity Guidelines and Important Documents Please review the documents for full program details and eligibility criteria.
