Infant & Early Childhood Mental Health Support Services Program Office of Teaching & Learning College and Career Pathways Maryland Public Secondary Schools Athletic Association Infant & Early Childhood Mental Health Support Services Program The Infant & Early Childhood Mental Health Support Services grant supports the promotion of positive mental and behavioral health practices for young children by building the capacity of early care and education providers and family members.
The program supports young children with developmental, social, emotional, or behavioral issues by providing consultation, referrals, and/or services to children, families, teachers, and caregivers. Proposals are due no later than Application Submission Date Monday, June 1, 2026. Applications and all attachments must be submitted no later than $3,000,000 is available to support awards under this program.
Estimated Number of Grants MSDE anticipates making approximately ten (10) grant awards, with estimated average grant amounts ranging from Customer Service Support Sessions MSDE will hold two customer service support sessions for interested applicants. During these sessions, MSDE personnel will provide technical assistance and review fiscal processes, forms, and timelines.
