Initiative for Black Owned Small Businesses We are a no nonsense nonprofit founded to support Black-owned small businesses through micro grants which can be used however the businesses see fit.
We have grassroots origins and understand grassroots needs, and we are delighted to serve the community. We offer grants, not loans, and don’t require receipts. Your money, your decisions.
There is no red tape, no reporting requirements, and no obligations for our grantees to pay it forward (although that has been the natural result). Have Questions? We’ve got answers.
