Emerging Needs & Nonprofit Capacity-Building Grants — Initiative Foundation Emerging Needs & Nonprofit Capacity-Building Grants View the grant guidelines to learn more. This grant opportunity is open to: Nonprofit organizations with 501(c)(3) status Organizations are not eligible to receive more than one grant within a single calendar year.
The maximum grant amount for Rapid Response and Short-Term Support grants is $5,000. The maximum grant amount for Nonprofit Capacity Building grants is $10,000. Choose One of Two Grant Options: Track 1: Emerging Needs Grants (Rapid Response / Short-Term Support) Track 2: Nonprofit Capacity Building Grants (Long-Term Strengthening / Sustainability) There will be three grant rounds in 2026.
Round one: Feb. 16 to March 27 at 4 p. m.
(Closed) Round two: June 8 to July 17 at 4 p. m. Round three: Oct.
5 to Nov. 6 at 4 p. m.
