Henry Buhl, Jr. established the Buhl Foundation with the desire to be “responsive to the needs of the time” with specific focus on the Greater Pittsburgh region.
It is with that perspective that the Buhl Foundation staff and Board of Directors regularly meet to review and respond to grant applications. While the establishment of the One Northside initiative provides a geographic focus on Pittsburgh’s eighteen Northside neighborhoods, grant applications impacting Western Pennsylvania and work similar to that of One Northside are encouraged.
