Strategic Impact and Innovation Grants support high-impact initiatives that align with MHEC’s strategic priorities Thanks to the success of our technology contracts, MHEC has been able to establish, for the first time, a grant initiative that invests in our member states.
Each of our 12 states is eligible to apply for a $250,000 Strategic Impact and Innovation Grant to pursue high-impact activities that align with MHEC’s strategic priorities and that are responsive to state needs in such areas as affordability, credential attainment, student success, and workforce alignment.
The program encourages collaboration within states—among institutions, systems, and sectors—to: Incubate : Develop and test innovative solutions that improve educational efficiency and outcomes. Launch : Implement coordinated, collaborative efforts to address pressing state-level challenges. Scale : Expand successful programs or policies statewide to increase impact and sustainability.
