According to a recent council meeting, the developer’s proposition has the potential to significantly reduce the cost of the project to the city, compared with it undertaking the work independently.

**Sector:** Social Infrastructure / Government Buildings **Region:** USA / Florida At a Martin County board of commissioners meeting held in October 2025, a motion was approved to issue a tender for P3 proposals for the construction and financing of a county facility, to be used for a constitutional office or as a backup dispatch center. That request for qualifications was issued the following month.

Alongside the new office, the partner will also be tasked with creating an employee wellness clinic and may be required to provide additional medical office space as part of the overall design.

**Sector:** Social Infrastructure / Housing, Regeneration and Leisure **Region:** USA / Florida P3 Markets and The Beckham Hotel Miami Gardens Development Team have submitted a joint proposal to deliver a new hotel, which would be near to the existing Hard Rock Stadium, home to the Miami Dolphins. The city has accepted the submission and opened to competing bids for the scheme.

**Sector:** Transport / Airport **Region**: USA / Florida North Bay Village Commission has voted in favor of plans which could see the development of a vertiport - a site used for vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) aircraft. The village manager will now work with the Florida Department of Transportation on the potential siting of the facilities.

The vote follows a presentation to the authority in 2024 by Skyports Infrastructure, the consortium behind the electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) P3 project currently being developed in New York The project would see private sector partners develop small habitat islands throughout Marco Island’s canal system, with the selected team entering into a P3 with the authority to develop the natural habitats, in an effort to improve the water quality in the area.

If the council proceeds with the project once the review and study are complete, the scheme will be put out to tender in accordance with Florida’s laws on unsolicited P3 proposals.

**Sector:**Social Infrastructure / Housing, Regeneration and Leisure **Region:**USA / California Corning City Council has approved a letter of application to be sent to USDOT’s Innovative Finance & Asset Concession (IFAC) program seeking funding for technical assistance, including for P3 project development.

The initiative involves leveraging the county's natural setting and recreational opportunities in order to attract visitors, with the intention of creating a unique regional brand. **Sector:**Social Infrastructure / Housing, Regeneration and Leisure **Region:**Canada / Ontario Targeting a seating capacity of 5,000, the new arena will seek to host major sporting competitions, as well as concerts and community events.

The plans are contained in the city’s latest draft Smart Growth Action Plan, which was discussed at a recent meeting of the authority’s Growth Standing Committee. **Sector:**Transport / Road Denton council members have unanimously voted to approve a request for $1m from the USDOT Build America Bureau’s Innovative Finance and Asset Concession (IFAC) grant program.

The money will be used to help the authority develop an intelligent transportation system (ITS) masterplan, with the final development likely utilizing innovative finance approaches, potentially including P3.

**Sector:**Social Infrastructure / Healthcare **Region:**USA / California The City of San Diego Council has approved a resolution to apply for up to $150m in grant funding to support the development of the new health facility, but is now looking to update that request and has also directed the Department of General Services to explore the feasibility of a P3 model to support the development of the campus.

The project has been initiated in response to California voters backing Proposition 1 in March 2024, which authorized $6. 38bn in general obligation bonds to expand behavioral health treatment, residential care settings, and housing to support people with mental health conditions and substance use disorders.

**Sector:** Transport / Ports and Locks **Region:** USA / California A new high-speed ferry service has been proposed between Malibu and Santa Monica as an alternative to highway travel on the heavily congested Pacific Coast Highway (PCH). The project is backed by a group called Pier to Pier, and also by the Emily Shane Foundation, founded by Michel Shane, whose daughter was killed by a speeding driver on PCH in 2010.
