Innovative Small E-Fleet Pilot Project (ISEF) is Closed ISEF will reopen with approximately $15 million upon the release of an updated Implementation Manual planned for August 2025 The California Air Resources Board (CARB) is announcing the temporary closure of the Innovative Small E-Fleet Pilot Project (ISEF) due the exhaustion of funds driven by high demand.
ISEF is planned to reopen in mid-August 2025, following the release of an updated Implementation Manual and system processing updates. ISEF will reopen with nearly $15M million in previously approved funding, allocated through the Air Quality Improvement Program as part of the Fiscal Year 2024-2025 Funding Plan for Clean Transportation Incentives.
An Implementation Public Workgroup will be held on May 30, 2025, to cover policy changes and updates to the program implementation manual.
