The Rural Veterans Health Access Program (RVHAP) ensures that veterans can access high-quality care closer to home, reducing the burden of travel and ensuring no veteran is left behind due to their zip code. The Office of Primary Care and Rural Health is accepting competitive applications for organizations who provide care coordination for Utah rural veterans.
Nonprofit, higher education, and local government agencies that serve rural veterans are eligible to apply. This grant-funded initiative bridges the gap between rural veterans and their state-earned Veterans Affairs (VA) healthcare benefits.
