International Master's Award of Excellence (IMAE)

Timothy D. Mayer Charitable Foundation Co-op for Social Good Work Term is a grant from the University of Waterloo that funds experiential learning opportunities for full-time undergraduate students in the PharmD program pursuing co-op or clinical placements in northern, remote, or rural locations working with Indigenous communities. The Mayer Foundation Experiential Award provides up to $2,000 per recipient and is limited to students enrolled in Year Two, Three, or Four of the PharmD program in the School of Pharmacy. Applicants must submit a two-page letter describing their goals, plans for community immersion, and how the funds would support their placement. Incremental Project Grant is a grant from the University of Waterloo administered through the Tri-Agency Research Support Fund (RSF) that funds indirect costs of strategic research projects at the university. The program supports four priority areas: innovation and commercialization activities, facilities renewal including deferred maintenance, information resources including open access and digital databases, and equity, diversity, and faculty renewal. In 2025-26, Waterloo received an allocation of $2,728,903 through this program. Eligible recipients are University of Waterloo faculty, staff, and students involved in qualifying research initiatives.
