International Student Scholarships - Mizzou Admissions Mizzou offers scholarships for international students that you will be considered for when you apply. Scholarships are education funds that don’t have to be repaid. International Admissions scholarships at the University of Missouri are applicable only to a non-resident portion of tuition fees.
Unless otherwise noted, scholarships may not be combined. Use the tables below to learn more. Awards for International Freshman Students Your application will be reviewed holistically in consideration of the international scholarships below.
SAT/ACT scores are not required but are preferred. If you have taken the SAT or ACT exam and feel your scores would enhance your overall profile, submit your official scores to be included in your review. Only degree-seeking international students admitted for on-campus study (not online) are considered.
Fall applicants must be admitted by March 1 and will then be considered. Scholarship offers for the fall term will be sent by April 1.

They are not to be regarded as offers to contract. PTK membership notification must be on an official transcript or other official document sent directly to us from the school. This award may not be combined with other awards.
Competitive scholarships are also available to International Students based on academic eligibility. International students applying for fall entry are eligible to apply for certain scholarships and fellowship programs offered through MU Honors College: ASH Scholars, Discovery Fellows, and Cherng Scholars. You must apply to MU, complete the Honors College Application, and submit all required materials by December 1 to be considered.
Review the Honors College site for specific eligibility criteria and application instructions for each award. International applicants currently residing outside of the U.S. are not eligible for the Stamps Scholarship due to the requirements of an in-person interview. However, the Stamps Scholars Application is also used for the Discovery Fellows review process.
If eligible for Discovery Fellows, the Stamps Scholars Application will be available on your Application Status Page. General & Departmental Scholarships The deadline to apply for general and departmental scholarships is December 1. Governmental & Outside Scholarships If you plan to attend Mizzou on a government sponsorship or outside scholarship, you must provide an award letter issued by your sponsor.
