NIDCD-Mentored Career Development Award for Postdoctorate AuD/PhD Audiologists Expand The purpose of the NIDCD-Mentored Career Development Award for Post-doctorate AuD/PhD Audiologists (K01) is to support comprehensive and rigorous postdoctoral research training experiences in the biomedical, behavioral, or clinical sciences of promising AuD/PhD audiologists who have the potential to become productive, independent investigators in scientific health-related research fields relevant to NIDCD's mission.
NIDCD Research Dissertation Fellowship for AuD Audiologists Expand The purpose of the NIDCD Research Dissertation Fellowship for AuD Audiologists (F32) program is to support a comprehensive, rigorous biomedical research training, and dissertation research leading to a research doctorate (i.e., PhD) in the biomedical, behavioral, or clinical sciences.
Alliance for Aging Research American Federation for Aging Research American Hearing Research Foundation Hearing Health Foundation National Institutes of Health National Science Foundation NCOA Innovations in Falls Prevention Program Expand This funding opportunity will provide grants for a 12-month period (June 1, 2024-May 31, 2025) to selected organizations for the development of innovative approaches to older adult falls prevention focused on one of the following areas: First responders/emergency medical services; housing/housing agencies; and nutrition services/food access points.
The deadline to apply is April 30, 2024. NCOA National Falls Prevention Fellowship Program Expand This fellowship program seeks to cultivate leaders who will explore and champion systems change solutions focused on mitigating older adult falls, falls risk factors, and fall-related injuries.
The year-long fellowship will include engagement with national falls prevention experts; mentorship to develop leadership skills and meet career goals; and monthly meetings with the NCOA Policy and Advocacy Team to provide insight into the policy-making process. The deadline to apply is May 10, 2024. Academy members receive many benefits for professional development, practice management, and community development.
