Iowa Apprenticeship Act (84E) | Iowa Workforce Development Registered Apprenticeship Grant Awards Announced Iowa has announced new Registered Apprenticeship (RA) grant awards for over 70 RA programs that are helping advance new careers across the state.
Read the Awards Announcement Iowa Apprenticeship Act (84E) As part of its commitment to growing Registered Apprenticeship (RA) across industries, Iowa provides annual RA program funding through the Iowa Apprenticeship Act (84E). These competitive grants are available annually to support training or ongoing costs within any active Iowa Registered Apprenticeship program.
A qualified apprenticeship program must be registered with the DOL/OA and the program must provide a minimum of 100 in-person contact hours to qualify for funding. 84E Iowa Apprenticeship Act (84E) Purpose Supports existing RA programs that require at least 100 hours of in-person Related Training Instruction for each individual apprentice.
Available Funding $3 million Awarded Amount Based on applicant’s proportionate share of the statewide total of qualified apprentices participating in a qualified RA program. Application Period Now closed. Applications typically open during early January for a 30-day period.

The Robotics Grant Program is a grant from the Alabama State Department of Education (ALSDE) that funds school-based robotics programs for elementary, middle, and high school students. Awarded through a competitive application process, the program provides up to $3,500 to eligible local education agencies (LEAs) in Alabama.
