Undergraduate STEM Research Scholarship First Year (Merit) Scholarship Student Experiential Opportunities (Hands-On) 2026-2027 Undergraduate STEM Research Scholarship Program The Iowa Space Grant Consortium (ISGC) will award eight (8) research scholarships of $5,000 for undergraduate students pursuing a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) disciplines that support NASA’s mission.
(Preservice STEM education majors also qualify.) These scholarships will be competitively awarded based on complete application information including academic qualifications, research project involvement, NASA alignment , and a faculty letter of recommendation.
